Walnut veneer uses a thin layer of real walnut bonded to cheaper composite materials like MDF or chipboard, which can chip, peel, or delaminate over time. All our walnut bed frames are made from 100% solid walnut—no veneers, no composites.
Not necessarily; our solid walnut bed frames are made to fit standard US mattress dimensions, from Twin through to California King. As long as your current mattress is supportive, comfortable, and free from sagging, it will perform optimally on our solid walnut bases.
